About the fuel cost calculator
Estimate trip fuel use and fuel cost based on distance, efficiency, and fuel price. This tool is designed to provide a quick estimate with clear, easy-to-understand results. It runs in your browser and does not require you to create an account.
How the calculation works
Fuel used = distance × fuel consumption ÷ 100. Estimated fuel cost = fuel used × price per litre.
Example
A 250 km trip at 7.5 L/100 km uses about 18.75 litres.
When should you use it?
Use this calculator for planning, checking estimates, comparing options, and understanding the effect of different input values. Results depend on the information you enter and may not include fees, exceptions, or local rules that are not explicitly represented.
